Last year Laniado Hospital dedicated the Department of Orthopedics and Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The construction of the project took 8 years, but now these two departments are filed with patients where they can receive the best treatment in spacious rooms. 

In addition, the hospital purchased and upgraded much needed medical equipment, benefiting many departments:

A new CT scanner was purchased and installed in the emergency room. This machine will enable quick and accurate diagnosis for tens of thousands of patients who are treated annually in the emergency room. 

The two X-ray rooms were renovated and the most modern and up to date digital X-ray machines were installed.

A new 3D mammography machine was purchased and installed.

Laparoscopy equipment was purchased for the Gynecology department.

New computer software was added to the Catheretization unit to reduce radiation levels to which staff and patients are exposed.

The two Gastroenterology rooms have been upgraded with higher resolution cameras enabling a more accurate and effective diagnosis.
